Welcome to the British Driving Society Devon Area website
We are privileged to drive in one of the largest and most beautiful counties in England.
We run a diverse schedule of events throughout the year including our opening drive in January, the annual show and our festive get together in December.
We welcome all BDS members to our events no matter how experienced they are, we are always happy to help. Details of Devon's support officer can be found on the main British Driving Society website.
Event Rules:
Remember to bring your B.D.S. membership card with you to all driving events as proof of insurance. Each turnout should carry a competent groom at all times.
Juniors aged 14 and under must wear hard hats when driving and must be accompanied by an adult.
Ride the Ruby Country is now pleased to offer three carriage driving routes that have been developed with BDS Devon.
